Señora Tanaka was born in Monterrey, N.L. as a homage and response to her father, Señor Tanaka, inheriting his passion for cooking and Rock—with a more carnivorous twist. Grupo Kampai sought to expand their iconic Monterrey restaurant to Mexico City and Guadalajara.
The Challenge
The main challenge was bringing the restaurant to a new city with no prior context and ensuring its arrival generated buzz, excitement, and success.
